Mark's exposure to the corporate world of international audit, saw him quickly discover that better business was about efficient systems, and effective processes to match the passion and drive of the business owner. During his 25 plus years in the accountancy and advisory industry Mark has provided a comprehensive range of services, with a strong focus on being practically minded and seeking solutions to most business challenges.

Mark is a qualified New Zealand auditor, and provides audit, independent reviews, due diligence and risk management orientated services. He also mentors Maori businesses referred to him from Te Puni Kokiri, and a substantial accounting client base.

For six years, Mark was the independent chairman of Ngai Tahu's audit committee, responsible for reviewing the Tribes financial reporting to its wider Whanau. He is the secretary of Rakaia Incorporation, winners of the 2016 Ahuwhenua Trophy for Excellence in Dairy Farming.

Mark represented Canterbury and Auckland at National Hockey Tournaments for more than 20 years, following the footsteps of his father and brother who also played Hockey for New Zealand. He has had a successful coaching spell at senior club level in Christchurch and at the helm of the Canterbury men's team.
